It was nice to meet so many pilots that I know only from the list.
One of the best pilots I know of is Mark Poustinchian, he is also
one
of the nicest people I have ever met. I want to thank him and
Samantha for letting me use their phone line all last week, and
letting my wife entertain Oscar, the parrot. I hope to see many of
you out west this summer. See you at launch and in the air.

Thanks Vince, it was great to meet you and your lovely wife. You did
a great job on your first competition. Most of the pilots gain so
much from these competitions and they improve so fast. I have seen
some of these pilots come from nowhere and before you know it, they
are flying and gliding with the best and beating them on some days
and after a short while they become very hard to beat. Good luck
with your flying adventures out west and keep up the good work and
thanks for all the gifts. It was also great to read your reports on
the list and I am sure many enjoyed reading them. Oscar is also a
very happy parrot with his new toy and all the goodies which you and
your wife got for him. Hope to see you and your wife soon.
