From the Editor

Well, here we go. It’s the beginning of the truly new millennium, and you get to witness a new editor learning the ins and outs of newsletter publishing.  I’d like to thank Charley for having done such a fine job of filling in all the blank space on these pages when there hasn’t been much else submitted.  I expect that will be my biggest challenge too – getting you to submit newsletter articles and punting when you don’t.

I’ll admit up front that I’m not as good as Charley was at editorials-on-the-fly, so I won’t even try.  As editor, I’ll make sure that what you submit is grammatically correct.  If you get anything beyond that, you’ll be lucky!

So, treat this as your opportunity to expound on your exploits, dreams, and ideas.  I’m here for you!

In an effort to make it as easy as possible for you to contribute, I’ve set up a section on the Sonoma wings Bulletin Board where you can upload anything you like for the newsletter, any time you like.  Of course you can always email or snail-mail articles to me too.

We’re hoping to make this year even more enjoyable than last.  Our club meetings should have less time spent on dry club business and more time spent on fun stuff.  I’m also in charge of coming up with that fun stuff, so here’s another way you can help, by giving me ideas for activities at club meetings.

Wish us all luck.  With all of us pitching in, this newsletter, our club meetings, and our club trips this year will all be first-class!
