2001 is ending. Now is a good time to take a
look at what we've accomplished. We had another year of great
flying - at least for those who made the effort to go out and try.
Vince Endter broke 100 miles, and seems to be on top in the Go-For-It
competiton.
Scot has also been racking up the miles, and the records. He
established 2 site records, for St. John, and for Winnimucca Mt. I
also believe he's leading in the nation-wide MCXC competiton - a measure of XC
prowess.
Rich Sauer hasn't been flying much with the club - he's been busy flying the
big-points national and international competitions. He's done well enough to be
on the World Team with a ranking of 10th nationally.
And all of us have been doing a bang-up job of documenting all the flying. We
have all the flight reports for the year in our Archives.
To finish up the year, we're
having our annual Christmas Party! This year it's at Larry Roberts' house.
Larry hosted the party for several years, and has volunteered his newly
remodelled house to us again.
